New Human Resources Information System (HURIS) Implementation (1 May 2014)

To All Staff,
Management Services Division is proud to announce that the University is ready to use the new Human Resource Information System (HURIS) starting with the attendance and absence application & management. Therefore, starting from 1st May 2014, all administrative staff members are required to use the new system to record their attendance, apply and approve leave. Academic staff members are also highly encouraged to switch to this new system especially those who are already using the Oracle HRMS.
To open the new system, please go to http://huris.iium.edu.my/online and log in using your current IIUM email username and password.
For your information, HURIS offers more efficient and comprehensive Human Resource Management System that allows employees and administrators at Kulliyyah / Centres/ Division / Institutes / Library / Offices (KCDIO) to access, update, track and deliver relevant human resource information.
The following are 2 modules under Phase 1 of the system:
· Punch in/out
· New working hour implementation (Normal, Flexi, Roster and Staggered working hour)
· Time off application
· Attendance records history
· IP address access monitoring
· Attendance management for liaison officer
· Managers can view subordinate timesheets record
· Leave / absence application
· Absence records history
· Leave / absence approval, rejection, recommendation, verification and cancellation through online
· Leave / absence management for liaison officer
· Managers can view subordinate absence record
The remaining modules under Phase 1 as stated below will also be launched in the near future:
· Staff Profile
· IIUM Payroll Management
· Overtime Management and Claim
You can check your personal information through HURIS. However, if there are discrepancies regarding your data, please do not hesitate to contact MSD for amendment or updates.
