International Foundation Programme
International Foundation Programme at IIUM ACADEMY is designed to provide students with the required knowledge and necessary skills to prepare them for entry into the degree programmes offered by the various Kulliyyah's (faculties) at IIUM. It is meant for students who have successfully obtained the SPM, IGCSE, GCSE qualification (previously known as GCE O-Level) or its equivalent from Malaysia or any part of the world.
International Foundation Programme comes with two intakes per year: July and November intake. This foundation programme offers 13 selected foundation programmes:
- Foundation in Economics & Management Sciences
- Foundation in English
- Foundation in Human Sciences
- Foundation in Law
- Foundation in Allied Health Sciences
- Foundation in Arabic
- Foundation in Architecture & Environmental Design
- Foundation in Biological Science
- Foundation in Engineering & Computer Science
- Foundation in Islamic Revealed Knowledge & Heritage
- Foundation in Medicine (not for those with SPM qualification)
- Foundation in Nursing
- Foundation in Physical Science
Entry into IIUM's Foundation programmes is open to Malaysian and international students, but admission processing is handled separately according to the applicant's nationality and qualification.

Degree Preparatory Programme
The Degree Preparatory Programme is designed to provide a pathway for students to join selected undergraduate programmes of International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM) with proper language and study skills preparation. It is open for qualified candidates with STPM / STAM / Diploma / Matriculation certificates.

Bachelor of Islamic Revealed Knowledge and Heritage
This Bachelor Degree programme offers students to have comparative approach in the study of Islamic Heritage, Thought and Other Religions on the basis of Usul al-Din. It fulfills the vision which is to promote the Islamic sciences relevant to contemporary disciplines of study, and the mission which is to develop an Islamically based integrated holistic approach to education and career.
It also offers courses in line with Singapore's aspirations such as unity among the races, religious harmony, and moderation in contemporary religious discourse. In addition, it meets the needs of global importance such as providing proper understanding of the worldview of Islam and endeavoring to regulate global peace and harmony through an intellectual Islamic discourse with other faiths and ideologies.

The IIUM Academy offers specialized postgraduate programmes organized in collaboration with the Kulliyyah's (Faculties) in IIUM. The programmes are designed to cater for executives and working adults who want to advance their knowledge and qualifications through flexible arrangements that allow them to combine working and learning commitments.
