Special Pass, Transfer Endorsement and Cancellation of Pass
Special Pass
A Special Pass is a temporary pass which is issued by the Immigration Department to allow foreign nationals to extend their stay in Malaysia due to a 'special' circumstances. The duration given is usually 30 days (at the Immigration discretion) and applicants are required to apply 7 days before expiration. If the pass is expired, applicants will be referred to the Enforcement Division, Immigration Malaysia
Transfer Endorsement
Holder of the visa that obtained a new passport. Valid visas in the old passport are required to be transferred to a new passport. Expired visa is not eligible for transfer endorsement and will be referred to the Enforcement Division, Immigration Malaysia
Cancellation of Pass
Cancellation/shortening of passes is for the applicants that are going to apply for other passes not associated with IIUM. Such passes are MM2H, Student Pass to different Institution, dependent on LTSVP, etc.) or leaving Malaysia permanently.
However, cancellation within the Institution is also required. Such processes involved variation, progression and dependent changing to students or vice versa.
