Introduction
KAED FEST is an annual event that has always been organised solely by students. This, to an extent has caused seperation between staff and students activities. In order to intergrate activities between staff and students, KAED’s management feel that there is a need for KAED FEST to be jointly conducted by KAED’s administrative staff, academic staff and students to enhance ukhwah among KAED’s community.
The Kulliyyah management also feel that most activities conducted during past KAED FESTs were heavily inclined towards student-get-together, charity drive and entertainment. Activities that can help to prepare students for life after graduation were lacking. Thus, the Kulliyyah management feel that it would be extremely useful to graduating students if KAED FEST was enhanced with more activities that involve inputs from professional bodies and social groups/activists.
