     Kulliyyah of Dentistry of IIUM is the newest kulliyyah in International Islamic University Malaysia. It was establish by YBhg Maj Gen Dato Paduka Prof Dr Hj Mohamad Termidzi Hj Junaidi. It was started on 1st July 2006 with only 12 academicians including 4 trainee lecturers and 2 clinical staff. The 1st batch enrolled on 23rd July 2007 with 47 students.

Nowadays, Kulliyyah of Dentistry IIUM have about 10 administration people, 37 academicians including local and foreigner lecturers. The development of kulliyyah also have been helped by our 8 technicians and 29 clinical staff. For further information, now Kulliyyah of Dentistry IIUM have 35 fifth year students, 57 fourth year students, 49 third year students, 47 second year students and 46 first year students. Dean of Kulliyyah of Dentistry of IIUM now is Maj(R) Dr Akbar Sham Hussin.
