Course Descriptions

Bachelor of Pharmacy curriculum requires student to fulfill 153 credit hours  within a minimum period of 8 semesters and a maximum of 12 semesters, not including the third semesters. This is in consistant with the semester system currently being implemented in IIUM, and the curriculum requirements of the Malaysian Board of Pharmacy for professional recognition.

There are two semesters in one academic session, and each semester consists of the following:
    
    7 weeks    -    course work (lectures, practical, tutorials, etc.)
    1 week    -    semester break
    7 weeks    -    course work (lectures, practical, tutorials, etc.)
    3 weeks    -    revision and examination
    5 weeks    -    semester break
