Publication Approval Committee is set up to assist and advice the Director of IIUM Press on matters pertaining to first level screening/approval of the manuscript.

Composition

The committee consists of the Director of IIUM Press as Chairman, six (6) members shall be appointed by the Rector. Assistant Director (Acquisition & Publication, IIUM Press) acts as secretary to the meeting.

Functions

·To evaluate manuscripts received on their suitability in line with the vision and mission of the University

·To ensure the authorities obligations towards the publication

·To propose ways and means of enhancing publication activities
