The Centre for University Social Responsibility (CENSERVE) will be organizing another international humanitarian outreach programme called The International Humanitarian Mission To Cambodia at 3 villages around Battambang,  at the north-west of Cambodia.

Many of the villagers live in poverty. There is no water supply at these villages and the only water sources that they have are the rivers and wells. Some have no houses to live and they  live in small boats. There are families who have no houses or boats and they take shelter under other peoples’ houses at night and move from one house to another. But they are our brothers who welcome us to their villages. It Islam that binds us together.

This is our fourth series of outreach project at Cambodia which began in 2006.

The programme will be held from 21st – 27th November 2010 in collaboration with the office of Grand Mufti of Cambodia. It will be participated by 15 students. 2 doctors and 2 staff.

We plan to do the following activities:

  • Construction of water well
  • Build water pump
  • English learning
  • Circumcision for children
  • Medical check-up
  • Reading classes
  • Religious activities
  • Donation distribution.

We appreciate your contributions to help support this project such as:

  • Money (will be used to build water pump amounting to RM 5,000)
  • “Telekung” (Prayer Veil)
  • Prayer mats (Sajadah)
  • Clothes
