| 1. | IIUM Library received its ISO 9001 : 2000 certification in October 2003 |
| 2. | Eleven (11) processes were registered for certification |
| 3. | Underwent the first and second Surveillance Audits in 2004 and 2005 respectively |
| 4. | Went through the first Re-assessment Audit in 2006 |
| 5. | Successful in defending the certification and it was extended for another three years until October 2009 |
| 6. | Merged with the university’s teaching and learning process in November 2007 as a support service |
