Expert Profile
Dr. Jaffar Syed Mohamed Ali, a graduate of the Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IITM), obtained both his M.Tech. and Ph.D in the field of Aerospace Engineering in 1993 and 1998 respectively. He obtained the Bachelor of Technology (AMAeSI) from Aeronautical Society of India, New Delhi, India in 1990 in the field of Aeronautical Engineering.
He started his career in 1996 as a Scientist-B in Defence Research and Development Organisation, India while continuing his Ph.D. With an industrial experience of two years he joined B S Abdur Rahman University, Chennai, India in 1998 as a senior lecturer in the Department of Mechanical Engineering. Later from 1999 to 2002, he served as an Associate Professor in the Department of Mechanical Power, Defence University, Debrezeit, Ethiopia. From 2003 to date, he is serving as an Assistant Professor at the Department of Mechanical Engineering, International Islamic University Malaysia.
