Expert Profile
Muhamad Sadry Abu Seman obtained his B.Sc., (Hon) and M.Sc., from MARA University of Technology (UiTM), Shah Alam in Information Technology and his D.Sc., from Robert Morris University in Pittsburgh, USA. His doctoral research focused on visual programming as part of learning and teaching tool for object-oriented programming.
Prior to joining IIUM, he worked in IT industry for three years as a Software Engineer in two companies. He developed software that used three-tier architecture framework for internal and external use for the companies. Based on his working experience, he has been assigned to teach various programming courses at Kulliyyah of Information and Communication Technology. The courses that he has taught include C++, C, JAVA, PHP & MySQL, and JAVA Web development. He has also been given a role as a coach for ACMICPC programming contest in 2007, 2008 and 2014 to train IIUM students for national and regional programming competitions. He was given the Best Teacher Award in 2008.
Currently, Dr. Muhamad Sadry is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Information Systems.
