Dr. Siti Mariam Muda obtained her basic training for both nursing and midwifery from Ministry of Health, Malaysia in 1991 and 1995. She obtained her Bachelor in Nursing Science (Hons) from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia in 2005 and worked at Ministry of Health Malaysia until 2007. Then, she pursued master degree at Nottingham University, United Kingdom and completed PhD study from Southern Cross University Australia. She returned and served to Kulliyah of Nursing in December 2014.
Presently Dr Siti Mariam Muda is lecturer at the Department of Special Care Nursing at Kulliyyah of Nursing. She is a qualified lactation counsellor and actively engaged in promoting breastfeeding practice. She is a committee member of Breastfeeding Support Group Pahang (KUSSIP) and Kuantan (KUPPSIK).
