Expert Profile
Dr. Aniza is a medical graduate, who underwent compulsory training in Hospital Universiti Malaya before receiving permanent registration in 2005. She gained experience in the field of paediatrics as a medical officer, having worked extensively in the paediatric intensive care unit. Proceeding this, she gained training in the department of Ophthalmology in HTAA Kuantan and IIUM Kuantan, in clinical and surgical ophthalmology.
She gained her Masters' Science degree in Microbiology after studying seroprevalence of antibodies in the community for melioidosis and correlating it with bacteriology studies of soil. Furthering studies in melioidosis, she has some experience in studying proteomics and biomarker studies.
