Expert Profile


Muhammad Naimmuddin bin Abdul Azih obtained his MBBS in 2007 and completed his housemanship at Hospital Kuala Lumpur in 2008. Later, he was posted as medical officer at various hospitals namely, Hospital Sultan Ahmad Shah, Hospital Jerantut and Hospital University Kebangsaan Malaysia. He obtained Membership of Royal College of Physician from Edinburgh, United Kingdom in 2011. Then, he underwent hist gazzetement at Hospital Tengku Ampuan Afzan Kuantan and later completed his subspecialty training in Respiratory Medicine in 2016.
He has published few papers including Multiple Cavitating Pulmonary Nodules secondary to Hodgkin's Lymphoma and A Case report on Tracheal Compression secondary to Left Subclavian artery aneurysm. He also had few posters presented during Malaysian Thoracic Society Congress such as Diffuse Panbronchiolitis Mimicking Pulmonary Tuberculosis and Left Hepatic Hydrothorax.
He is actively involved in various clinical trials of lung cancers such as Amgen study, Solar study and MK study. He is also had become speakers in various local conferences such as Pahang's Respiratory Update, MMA Medical Update, Asthma and COPD workshops.
Currently, he is a senior lecturer in the department of Internal Medicine, Kulliyyah of Medicine, IIUM.
