Expert Profile


Dr. Nurulhasanah Binti Mustapar graduated from University Putra Malaysia with degree of Doctor of Medicine (MD) in 2006. She started her housemanship in August 2006 in Hospital Selayang and completed her housemanship in Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Paediatric and Surgical Department within the first year of her training. She then completed her training as junior medical officer in Internal Medicine and Orthopaedic Departments before she became medical officer in Forensic Medicine Department, HKL for almost 4 years. She found her passion in teaching junior doctors throughout her training and decided to pursue her career as University lecturer. She joined Kulliyyah of Medicine, IIUM as trainee lecturer in 2013 and obtained Master of Pathology (Anatomic Pathology) from University Science Malaysia (USM) in March 2020.  She is a fully registered member of the Malaysian Medical Council and currently working as Assistant Professor in the Department of Basic Medical Sciences, Kulliyyah of Medicine, International Islamic University Malaysia. She has been teaching pathology and anatomy, specializing in histology .  Currently, she is actively involved in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching at the Kulliyyah of Medicine. She is a member of the Malaysian Anatomical Association.
