Expert Profile


Khairil obtained his B.Ed TESOL degree from Macquarie University, Sydney under the Program Pelajar Cemerlang, Ministry of Education in 2008. In 2009, he started his teaching career at SBP Integrasi Tun Abdul Razak, Pekan as an English Language teacher.
In 2012, Khairil was promoted as the Head of English Language Panel at Sekolah Menengah Agama Persekutuan Bentong. In January 2014, Khairil joined CELPAD as an English Teacher and was placed at IIUM's Centre for Foundation Studies, Gambang campus. Khairil completed his M.Ed TESL degree at UITM Shah Alam in 2014. Recently, Khairil has completed his PhD study in Education at Kulliyyah of Education, IIUM. His PhD research is entitled Examining ESL Teachers’ Understanding and Practices of Written Feedback in the State of Pahang. Khairil is now an Assistant Professor at the Kulliyyah of Languages & Management, IIUM Pagoh.
