Abdul Rahman Fata Nahas obtained his BSc in pharmacy from Ajman University of Science and Technology (AUST), Ajman, UAE in 2005. At that year, he returned back to his home country and worked for seven years as a community pharmacist, during which he served the patients in the community and gained an excellent experience in handling patients as well as people of different personalities from various backgrounds.
In 2012, he took a pivotal step in his life to move to the academic field when he decided to pursue his higher studies in clinical pharmacy. After one year, he obtained his MSc. in clinical pharmacy from Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM), and pursued his PhD study in the years after, focusing on psychiatry, sexual medicine and osteoporosis. In September 2017, Abdul Rahman successfully completed his PhD from USM. In 2015, he joined the International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM) as one of the Kulliyyah of Pharmacy family, working as a lecturer in the Pharmacy Practice department.
