Expert Profile
He is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Kulliyyah of Engineering, International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM). Before becoming an academic staff in 2017, he was a Ph.D Researcher in Centre for Propulsion, School of Aerospace, Transport and Manufacturing, Cranfield University, United Kingdom. He was awarded MSc (Mechanical Engineering-Aerospace) and B.Eng (Aerospace Engineering) in IIUM. His research focus area in aerospace propulsion technologies includes pressure gained combustor, performance and emissions of aero-gas turbines, alternative fuels, hybrid rocket technology, and optimization. He was granted a Malaysian Government scholarship (SLAI/SLAI) for high educational studies. He has published in reputable journals and presented technical papers in many international conferences. He is a graduate member of the Board of Engineer Malaysia (BEM), a member of the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET), and holds Student-to-Professional membership at the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA). He holds a Professional Technologist (Aerospace and Aviation Technology) under the Malaysia Board of Technologist (MBOT). He is an affiliate member of Young Scientist Network-Academy Science Malaysia since 2018. He has several industrial projects with industries and has become a consultant with Lestari Aero Sdn Bhd. He is also a Research Fellow in High Energy Material Research Laboratory, UiTM.
