Dr. Tengku Nordayana Akma binti Tuan Kamaruddin is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Mechanical Engineering, International Islamic University Malaysia. She obtained her B.Sc. in Mechanical-Automotive Engineering from International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM) in 2009, then her M.Eng. in Mechanical Engineering from University Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) in 2012, and her Ph.D. from Loughborough University, UK in 2018. She is a registered Graduate Engineer with Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM). She is also a Graduate member in The Institution of Engineers Malaysia (IEM) and Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE). She has participated in ‘Local Expert Attachment Program (LEAP)’ at PROTON Shah Alam for a duration of 12-month from 3rd September 2018 to 2nd September 2019. Her research topics include vehicle propulsion technology focusing on internal combustion engines; vehicle safety; and automotive design.
