I joined the Department of History and Civilization at International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM) on 1 September 2019. The courses i have taught at IIUM include History of Malaysia, 1400-1957, Islam in the Malay World, Islam in Modern Southeast Asia, and Introduction to History and Civilization. I'm also currently supervising Final Year Project I & II which meant for History-majoring students. I'm very much interested in the history of Muslims in the Malay World as well as Japanese History during Meiji Era.
