Expert Profile
Harlina Damiri obtained her BSc (Hon) and MPhil degrees from University of Malaya (UM), Kuala Lumpur in Physics. Upon completion of her Master's degree in 1997, she worked in a lasers and optoelectronics R & D based company at UM for six years. In January 2003, she took up a physics lecturer position at the Centre for Foundation Studies, IIUM.
Besides teaching physics, she has served as an Academic Advisor, course coordinator, and curriculum committee member. Currently, she is involved in a research under MyRA grant entitled "Grounding Of The Education Model Based On Branching Of Islamic Knowledge Into Engineering/Technical Education,".
