Expert Profile
Muhammad Zahin bin Mohd Yusof earned his Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Arabic for International Communication from the International Islamic University Malaysia in 2019 and a Master of Arts in Arabic Studies (Linguistics) from the Abdul Hamid Abu Sulayman Kulliyyah of Islamic Revealed Knowledge and Human Sciences, IIUM in 2023. He began his career as a matriculation lecturer at the Centre for Foundation Studies, IIUM, from 2021 to 2024.
Currently, he is a lecturer at the Kulliyyah of Sustainable Tourism and Contemporary Languages (KSTCL), IIUM, and pursuing a PhD in Arabic Studies, specializing in Teaching Arabic for Specific Purposes, at the same Kulliyyah.
He has been actively involved in and has won several medals in educational innovation competitions, such as the Pre-University Matriculation Innovation Competition (PIITRAM) and the International Putra InnoCreative Carnival in Teaching and Learning (IPICTL). He has also presented at conferences, including the International Conference on Future and Sustainable Education (ICFSE) and the International Conference on Arabic Language and Literature (i-CALL). Moreover, he actively participates in Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) programs and community outreach initiatives with Indigenous communities through projects such as Smart Solat and Jungle School. Additionally, he is often invited to programs organized by the Pahang State Islamic Religious and Malay Customs Council (Majlis Ugama Islam dan Adat Resam Melayu Pahang).
In 2023, he was recognized as the Productivity Champion in the Talent category by the Malaysia Productivity Corporation under the Ministry of International Trade and Industry.
