Expert Profile
Fauziah Fathil is a lecturer currently serving the Department of History and Civilization, International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM). She has been teaching courses for both undergraduate and postgraduate students at the department for more than 15 years among which include those related to Modern History of China, Japan and Korea, History of Malaysia and Islamic History.
She has participated in various conferences, presented papers and published articles. She has also involved in several approved research projects such as Malay Politics during the Japanese Occupation, 1941-45, Japanese Ethnic Policies towards Malays in Malaya, 1941-45, War, Press and Propaganda in Malaya: Issues in Malai Shinpo and Syonan Shimbun, History of Rawa Community in Malaysia, etc. Additionally, she is working on several independent projects on issues related to modernity and modernization of Meiji Japan, as well as Islam and Muslims in China, Japan and Korea.
She has participated in various conferences, presented papers and published articles.
