Dr. Mazni bt. Mohd Noor obtained her B.Sc (Hons) degree in Physics from the University of Malaya in 1992, her MSc (Energy Technology) from UKM (2007) and Ph.D in Advanced Materials from the University of Malaya (2013). Previously, she worked as an engineer in Canon Opto (M) Bhd (1995-2004) in the Department of Product Engineering in charge of optical section and Tutor in the Department of Physics, University of Malaya (1992-1995). righttop
Presently, she is a matriculation lecturer in the Department of Physics and has served the department for ten years since 2005. She was appointed as the lab coordinator for the Department of Physics (formerly known as Department of Engineering, CFS) from Oct 2007 until May 2009. Currently, she holds the position of a Course Coordinator and Fellow of Mahallah Khadijah Residential College. Dr. Mazni bt Mohd Noor has published six papers in ISI, Scopus Journals and has attended international conferences held locally and abroad. She was awarded the Most Promising Researcher award, Centre for Foundation Studies, for the year 2014.
