Expert Profile


Asst Prof Dr Saidatolakma Mohd Yunus graduated with Bachelor of Fiqh and Usul al Fiqh, Master of Fiqh and Usul al Fiqh (2010), and Doctor of Philosophy in Islamic banking and Finance (2015) from International Islamic University Malaysia.  She joined the Kulliyyah of Islamic Revealed Knowledge as a lecturer in 2015 and the Department of Fiqh and Usul al-Fiqh in 2018 specialising in Islamic Banking and finance, Islamic banking products, purification of non-halal income, social finance, as well as Fiqh muamalat. She has conducted several Shariah trainings in some financial institutions in Kuala Lumpur under IIUM Academy Program and also IIUM. She has written several articles published in both local and international journals and has also presented papers at conferences in the area of Islamic banking and finance.
