Expert Profile
Siti Asma Mohammed obtained his PhD degree from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) in Systems and Science Management. Prior to joining IIUM in February 2016, she was a lecturer at Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris (UPSI) from Feb 2006 - Feb 2016.
Her research interest is in the area of Information Systems evaluation, focusing on data and information quality practices especially for healthcare organizations. Among of her research work involved real industry experiences at two prominent tertiary healthcare organizations in Sydney, Australia and Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Both researches were to evaluate the data and information quality practices, which involved the business process reengineering (BPR) of the clinical process and reverse engineering of the medical database. Apart from that, she also interested in doing research in software engineering discipline.
Presently Dr Siti Asma is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Computer Science at the International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM) since 1st February 2016.
