Expert Profile
Dr. Zabeda Abdul Hamid has a Ph.D. in Human Resource Management from the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow, UK, and a Masters in Human Resource Management from the Robert Gordon University, Aberdeen, UK. She specialises in the area of Organisational Behaviour, Talent Development and Knowledge Management. Dr. Zabeda is currently the Deputy Director of the Graduate School of Management, International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM) and is also attached to the Kulliyyah of Economics and Management Sciences, IIUM as an Asst. Professor.
Dr. Zabeda teaches and supervises undergraduate and postgraduate students in the area of Management, Organisational Behaviour and Knowledge Management. She was formerly the Head for both the Masters in Business Administration and the Masters of Management programmes under the IIUM Graduate School of Management. Besides presenting papers at conferences, Dr. Zabeda has also been invited as a guest speaker at international conferences, including a workshop organised by the United Nations in the Middle-East. She has also published research papers and book chapters in the areas of Knowledge Management, Talent Development and Organisational Behaviour.
Dr. Zabeda is an active member of Mensa (a High-IQ Society), having presented talks at Mensa International events in the United States, France, Indonesia and in Malaysia. She is currently an international committee member for the Mensa International Election committee and has been a participant, as well as committee member, of the Leadership Exchange Ambassador Programme (LEAP) under Mensa International.
